"I Will Rescue You" (canvas 24 x 30"- Large)

Originally, the little girl in this scene was rescued by a daring soldier in the midst of a war; she was found hiding under the garment of her dead mother.  When Shoshannah saw the original picture, a deep inspiration sprang forth to recreate the scene with Jesus as the Rescuer of every lost, lonely, broken, and forgotten soul. 

 

"...He personally rescued them. In His love and mercy he redeemed them. He lifted them up and carried them through all the years." Isaiah 63:9

 

This artwork was drawn entirely by hand with graphite and charcoal pencils.
